Marc Harris, Founder/Principal
As both an entrepreneur and Environmental Engineer, Mr.
Harris possesses over 40 years of hands-on business and field
experience as both a consultant and principal. At age seventeen,
Mr. Harris started his own international trading company,
Sea-Fair Marine, which specialized in importing and
distributing surfboards, water skis, boating supplies and
other aquatic sporting goods from Australia, Indonesia, and Taiwan.
Several years later, Mr. Harris later sold Sea-Fair Marine, earned a Master's
Degree from Stanford University, obtained his Real Estate Broker's license, and
joined Parnas Corporation, a San Francisco-based land development firm as the
VP of Planning and Acquisitions. The company relocated Mr. Harris to work
on its projects in Southern California, where he also obtained an advanced
degree in Environmental Engineering from California State University, Long
Beach.
Later, in preparation for creating his own
investment offerings in real estate and other
sectors, Mr. Harris obtained a Series 7
License from the Securities Exchange
Commission, and is an NYSE Registered
Representative.
In 1987, Mr. Harris founded MHAGroup,
which for over 25 years has been involved in locating, analyzing, acquiring,
planning, entitling, financing, building, operating and managing a variety of
real estate assets including commercial, retail, residential, hotel and resort
properties.
His real passion, however, has been to locate, plan, and build world-class resort
properties. Some of these he has been involved in either as a principal or as an
advisor include:
